Samsung’s Sam: Is The Virtual Mobile Assistant Real?

Are the images of Samsung’s potential Bixby replacement, Sam, gaining popularity on social media? Will Sam be available on Galaxy phones in the near future?

Samsung is reportedly developing a new virtual assistant named Sam to replace Bixby. While many smartphones already have virtual assistants, some are more popular and helpful than others. Samsung’s Sam is expected to have a visually appealing interface, if it is indeed real and coming to their Galaxy smartphones in the near future.

Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are widely considered as the top virtual assistants. Nevertheless, Apple’s Siri holds its own due to its compatibility with numerous devices and accessibility. Samsung is also striving to create a unified ecosystem for its devices, but its Bixby virtual assistant has not gained the same level of popularity as Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.

Lou and others have recently shared images on social media that are currently being called Sam. There is some debate about whether these images are official Samsung renders or if they were created by a third-party as a concept. However, SinisterSh0t on Twitter found a cached version of a webpage from Lightfarm Studios, which seemed to indicate that the images of the Sam virtual assistant were created in collaboration with a marketing agency owned by Samsung Group. This suggests that Sam may be real to some extent.
